A Warm and Cultural Homestay in Central Grenoble
This welcoming host lives in a spacious and bright duplex apartment in the heart of Grenoble, in a lively neighbourhood with many local shops and amenities within easy reach.
A psychologist by profession, she enjoys music, cinema, theatre and cultural activities, as well as walking and skiing. She is keen to welcome international students into her home, discover their culture and share her own French culture with them.
Her three adult children no longer live at home but occasionally visit at weekends, creating a warm family atmosphere while allowing the student plenty of independence. A friendly Jack Russell may also occasionally stay at the apartment on weekends.
The apartment has three bedrooms and one bathroom and is equipped with Wi-Fi, TV and a piano. The student has a comfortable private bedroom furnished with a large bed, bedside table, wardrobe, desk and chair.
One of the main advantages of this homestay is its excellent central location. The apartment is within walking distance of Grenoble city centre, while the tram stop for the university campus is only about three minutes away. Depending on the university, the journey takes approximately 10 to 20 minutes. Grenoble train station is also around 15 minutes away.
The host is happy to welcome one international female student, including a student under 18. She has previous hosting experience and can accommodate special dietary requirements. Several meal options are possible, with breakfast and three, five or seven dinners per week.
